Go to the Apple App Store and download Danceify. It is a free download.
Launch Danceify. A brief onboarding screen explains how the app works. You will not be asked to create an account or verify an email address. At the end, you can start Creation Weekly with its introductory offer, which you confirm with your Apple Account, or buy a coin pack. Neither is required to continue: tap Not now to go into the app.
On Home, tap the tab for who is in your photo: DOG, CAT, BABY or ADULT. The AI uses this to apply the right body mechanics and proportions — a person and a dog require fundamentally different movement physics, so this selection matters for output quality.
Choose from 17 styles including EDM Shuffle, Salsa, Hip-Hop, K-Pop, TikTok Viral, Ballet, Bollywood, Samba, Tango, Flamenco, Reggaeton, Swing, Belly Dance, Hula, Greek Dance, Country Line, and Irish Dance. Each style produces a completely different video from the same photo, so if you enjoy the first one, there are more to explore.
Select a photo from your camera roll. For the best result, use a clear, well-lit image where the subject is front-facing and takes up a good portion of the frame. One subject per photo. Avoid heavy filters, extreme angles, or images with busy backgrounds. The clearer and simpler the photo, the better the AI output. Then pick a track in the MUSIC row.
Tap CREATE. The result is a short, vertical video of your subject performing the dance you selected.
Your video comes with the track you picked before tapping CREATE; you can change it on the player. Save it to your camera roll. It is ready to post directly to TikTok, Instagram Reels, or wherever you want to share it.
Since every video uses coins, it is worth taking a moment to pick the right photo before you generate. The single biggest factor in video quality is the source image.
